Professor Minyou Chen

Dr. Minyou Chen received his PhD in Automatic Control and Systems Engineering from University of Sheffield UK in 1998. He currently serves as a vice chair of IEEE Smart Village - China Committee. Since 2005, he has been a professor in Electrical Engineering at Chongqing University. His main research interests include architectures and algorithms of intelligent modelling and control, computational intelligence and its application, multi-objective optimization, intelligent information processing, distribution network/microgrid optimal operation and control, reliability analysis and health management of power electronic device and equipment, applications of artificial intelligence in engineering, etc. As an author or co-author, he has published more than 260 research papers. Since 2021, he has being included in the Stanford University/Elsevier worldwide top 2% scientists rankings career-long impact researchers.
