Jane Wu
Trained as a physicist, Ms. Wu has more than 30 years experience in marketing, sales, business development, venture investment, research/technology development in semiconductor and solar sector. As member of Corporate Executives, she helped 3 companies IPO in US, HK and China stock market. Before BRI Capital Partners, Jane served as Chief Strategy Officer at JYT technology, a silicon wafer equipment company. She successfully managed the corporate reformation and exit at Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2011. Before JYT, Jane was President of global Operation at Comtec Solar, a clean energy manufacture company, where her main responsibilities include formulating market penetration strategy, positioning and branding new products, improving operational efficiency and creating new business models with both upstream and downstream partners. The company successfully closed an IPO on HongKong stock exchange under the challenging economic environment in 2009.
Before joining Comtec Solar, Jane was General Partner of TD Growth Capital, a venture capital fund focusing in Cleantech sector. As a Managing Director, Jane helped portfolio company design strategic business plan, identify threats and exit methodology. Before TD Growth served as Corporate Officer, Executive Vice President of Business Development for JA Solar (NASD: JASO) and was responsible for forging global strategic alliances, establishing corporate marketing and supplier directing technology development and licensing business. Prior to JASO, Ms. Wu served 12 years at Applied Materials, where she had various technical and managerial roles from technology development, field engineering support, business management and corporate strategy. Ms. Wu also worked 4 years at Rockwell Semiconductor on device process engineering for space wireless communication applications. In addition, Ms. Wu was an entrepreneur and co-founded CiWest Corporation which was acquired by a major semiconductor foundry.
